About Us
Allen Built are involved in a range of charitable endeavours within the Southern Tasmanian Community. These include supporting social events run through the Immune Deficiencies Foundation Australia for affected children and their carers, donating time and materials to local schools for maintenance projects and sponsoring sporting events including cross country races throughout Autumn and Winter.
Allen Built is a family-owned and operated commercial, residential, and maintenance construction company in Tasmania. It is made up of a team of skilled employees who work alongside Directors Shannon and Angela Allen to provide efficient, quality and cost-effective building solutions to all clients. As a qualified builder possessing a diploma in building and construction and 15+ years of working within the carpentry space, Shannon believes that no client should be turned away, and, as a result, the company undertakes a wide range of building projects.
In total, Allen Built possesses 40+ years of industry experience, with Shannon taking over from his father, Edward Allen (a retired engineer), to further the company’s goal of providing the community with exceptional building solutions to structural, functional and aesthetic construction needs.
Outside of work, Shannon and Angela enjoy running, hiking around Tasmania and spending time with their daughters (who never behave well in photos)!
